Designing and evaluating at school

Schools’ autonomy, social and cultural changes, the complexity of today’s world make the perspective of an
isolated and exclusively transmissive teacher inconceivable. On the contrary, numerous research evidences
underline the importance of context organization and construction, being context a key factor that can positively
impact student’s learning.
In this article we briefly analyze the main competences that are required from expert teachers that work side
by side with school principals.
