Implementation of the ICF in schools with Legislative Decree n. 66/2017: A study amongst teachers

The article presents the results of a quantitative-qualitative study amongst teachers, aimed at investigating knowledge of the ICF model, its level of use in school practices and the perception of its usefulness on the eve of entry into force of Legislative Decree n. 66/2017. The general picture that emerges indicates a need for widespread training to ensure that the new requirements introduced by legislation on the inclusion of students with disabilities represents a concrete opportunity for conceptual, methodological and instrumental innovation in the Italian school system.
