Stepping forward to the challenge

The article reflects on the educational group as a dimension of values and work practices that can help the development of a positive and active role of people with disabilities in the construction of their life project. The proposed reflection is based on the re-elaboration of the concrete experience of the Bologna Handicap Documentation Centre, where, for more than thirty years, educational and training interventions have been planned and implemented that seek to modify the social image of disabled people in a positive and plural sense.
