Elena Malaguti

The transition from adolescence to adult age is a delicate stage that influences the future of everyone. This particular stage is very delicate and complex for young people with intellectual disabilities. There are many assumptions on which the UN Convention (ONU, 2006) and recent research have focused, inviting us to rethink the perspectives and projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. The aim of this contribution is to add and propose some methodological suggestions for supporting the building of equitable and sustainable life projects, also in accordance with a social and human ecological approach on disability.
