Narrative method and inclusive practices From life stories to life projects

Barbara De Angelis, Luana Vitale

Narrative competence is a developmental stage which is critical for the organisation of logical thought and verbal communication. This allows pedagogy to give narration an educational value in the realisation of teaching which also engages gifted pupils.
This contribution, which is based upon theoretical constructs from recent pedagogical literature and evidence which has emerged from research carried out in educational contexts, offers a practical proposal which, from an inclusive perspective, values the practice of narration and the autobiographical approach for creating a «life project».
