The «circle» of inclusion

Rosa Maria Marafioti

Over the last twenty years a global conception of inclusion, which regards school as a part of society as a whole, has increasingly been emerging in the European and Italian legal framework. It should be said that a virtuous circle between the system of categories and values of the educational pedagogical project on the one hand and the specific language of our time on the other hand starts when modern technology is no longer used as a simple support to traditional teaching methods, but rather constitutes an inclusive learning environment. The «Online Learning Circle» is definitely one of the most efficient multimedia technologies, capable of transcending the generational gap between «digital natives» and «digital immigrants» and therefore promoting the soft skills which are required in order to create a very inclusive society.
