«Il castello delle parole»: A new app for phonological awareness improvement. Presentation of the device and of the preliminary study

A preliminary study was carried out. The sample was composed of 18 children, aged 5-6,7, with SLI. An Experimental Group (EG) underwent an innovative treatment, which combines traditional techniques with the use of the app, while the Control Group (CG) was involved in traditional activities on PA. Measures of PA were taken before and after the training for all participants by using the CMF test. As a result, the preschool children included in the EG made faster progress than the children in the CG.
