Evaluation of bilingual children with a learning disability: A pilot study of a dynamic reading test

Ilaria De Dominicis, Enrico Ghidoni

Results indicate that the clinical sample affected by specific learning disabilities perform worse in the CIDT compared to the control sample. However, there are no significant differences between bilingual children and monolingual children. The study’s results indicate that the CIDT can be a discriminatory test for specific learning disabilities, regardless of general language skills in a second language learned.
