2026 NCDA Global Career Development Conference Creative Resilience: Integrating Dynamic Solutions in Career Development

The National Career Development Association (NCDA) Conference, titled «Creative Resilience: Integrating Dynamic Solutions in Career Development», will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, from June 30 to July 2, 2026.
The conference will bring together career development practitioners, scholars, educators, and policy makers who are interested in examining innovative approaches to fostering adaptability and resilience in today’s evolving world of work. Participants will take part in discussions focused on emerging labor market dynamics, social and economic challenges, and evidence-based interventions that help individuals manage career transitions. The program will feature a range of formats, including presentations, roundtable discussions, workshops, and poster sessions.

31st International Congress of Applied Psychology ICAP 2026 New Directions in Applied Psychology

The 31st International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP 2026) will be held in Florence from 21 to 25 July 2026.
ICAP 2026 is the world conference of the IAAP International Association of Applied Psychology (https://iaapsy.org/), the most prestigious association of applied psychology founded in 1920 (https://iaapsy.org/about/) with 18 divisions, which takes place every four years.
The congress will bring together leading experts from around the world to share their cutting-edge research and insights in applied psychology. ICAP 2026 will showcase the latest discoveries in applied psychology and explore their potential to generate positive change on both a personal and societal level.
The Congress President is Giuseppe Scaratti (Full Professor, Director of the Human and Social Sciences Department, University of Bergamo, Italy). The Congress Vice-Presidents are: Annamaria Di Fabio (Annamaria Di Fabio, Full Professor, Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literatures and Psychology, University of Florence, Italy) and Edoardo Lozza (Full Professor, Faculty of Psychology, Catholic University of Milan, Italy).
Regarding the Scientific Committee, Annamaria Di Fabio is the President of the Scientific Committee and Program, and Dina Guglielmi (Full Professor, Department of Education Studies, University of Bologna) is the Vice-President of the Scientific Committee and Program. Also IAAP Presidents of each the 18 Divisions of IAAP are engaged on the scientific program committee with broad international representation.

2026 APA – American Psychological Association Convention

The APA annual convention organized by the American Psychological Association (APA) will be held in Washington (DC) from August 6 to 8 2026.

This year the XXII National Congress of the Section of Psychology for Organizations of the Italian Association of Psychology (Associazione Italiana di Psicologia – AIP) will be held in Bologna from September 3 to 5, 2026, at the University of Bologna, in the historic venue of San Giovanni in Monte.
The congress theme, «The adjacent possible: exploring the Boundaries of Innovation in Work and Organizational Psychology», focuses on innovation as a process emerging from existing possibilities and evolving organizational contexts. The concept of the «adjacent possible» highlights how organizational change develops through the exploration of new opportunities that become accessible from the present state of organizations and work practices. The congress aims to promote discussion on innovative perspectives, emerging organizational processes, and new ways of understanding work and organizations in contemporary societies. The event will host thematic symposiums organized by members of the Section, as well as oral communication sessions related to the congress themes. During the Congress, awards for the best doctoral thesis, the best scientific article, and the best contribution presented at the congress will be assigned. The congress will also provide opportunities for networking, scientific exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration among scholars and professionals in organizational psychology.
