Self-Perceived Employability Scale for students: Contribution to Italian validation with high school students

Annamaria Di Fabio, Ornella Bucci

The purpose of this study was to offer a contribution to the validation of the Italian version for high school students of the Self-Perceived Employability Scale for students. Participants were 213 high school students. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a unidimensional version of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and concurrent validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Self-Perceived Employability Scale for students is a valid instrument for measuring employability in the Italian context also with high school students.
