Flourishing Scale: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio

The purpose of this study is to offer a first contribution to the Italian validation of the Flourishing Scale (FS) for use in Italian contexts. Participants were 217 university students. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a unidimensional version of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Flourishing Scale is a valid instrument for measuring flourishing also in Italian contexts.
