Annamaria Di Fabio, Alessio Gori, Marco Giannini

This study aims to assess the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI). The TIPI was administered along with other instruments, in order to verify some aspects of its concurrent validity, to a group of 120 university students. The internal consistency of this Italian version of the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) showed good values (Extraversion, a = .82; Agreeableness, a = .78; Conscientiousness, a = .79; Emotional Stability; a = .71; Openness, a = .74). Results showed a good convergent validity and a good concurrent validity of this Italian version of the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI). The Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) appears to be a precious resource for rapid personality assessment.
