Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio

The purpose of this study is to offer the first contribution to the Italian validation of the Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test (GRAT) for use in Italian contexts. Participants were 319 adults. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a three-dimensional version of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test is a valid instrument for measuring gratitude also in Italian contexts.
