Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire: First contribution to the Italian validation

Annamaria Di Fabio, Letizia Palazzeschi

The aim of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ). The Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire, the Intrapreneurial Self-Capital Scale, the Proacitive Personality Scale and the Acceptance of Change Scale were administered to one hundred and seventy two workers. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a unidimensional structure of the scale. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire is a valid instrument for measuring entrepreneurial intention also in Italian contexts.
