HEXACO-60: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version
Annamaria Di Fabio, Donald H. Saklofske
The aim of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the HEXACO-60. Four hundred and ninety-seven participants were involved in the study. Dimensionality, reliability, and construct validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a six-dimensional structure of the instrument. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the HEXACO-60 is a valid instrument for measuring personality traits also in Italian contexts.
