Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) Scale: First contribution to the validation of the Italian version

Annamaria Di Fabio

The aim of this study is to offer a first contribution to the validation of the Italian version of the Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) Scale. Two hundred and twenty-seven participants were involved in the study. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a three-dimensional structure of the instrument. In addition, good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the OFER is a valid instrument for measuring the constructs of fatigue, exhaustion and recovery also in Italian contexts.
