Job Safety Scale: Psychometric properties of the Italian version
Annamaria Di Fabio
The aim of this study is to analyze the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the Job Safety Scale. The scale was administered to 257 workers. Dimensionality, reliability, and concurrent validity were analysed. Confirmatory factor analysis supported a one-dimensional structure of the instrument. Good internal consistency and validity were established. Results indicate that the Italian version of the Job Safety Scale is a valid instrument for measuring the perception of job safety also in Italian contexts.
