During the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of tele-rehabilitation has significantly limited the risks connected to isolation and has given specialists the opportunity to continue managing treatments. In this study, 8 children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and 9 with speech disorders between the ages of 6 and 9 were examined. The purpose of the study is to verify the effectiveness of a direct tele-rehabilitation intervention, aimed at enhancing ToM in children with autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disorders. The obtained results highlight the effectiveness of the treatment in all cases examined, especially those with Autism spectrum. The research aims to implement a new model of treatment that can be used as a valid support and integration to rehabilitation, whether face-to-face or tele-rehabilitation, in order to encourage multimodal approaches in strengthening the ToM construct.
