Humor-based psychoeducational program with patients in psychiatric rehabilitation: preliminary study

The study provided preliminary evidence that a humour-focused psychoeducational programme could be beneficial in the psychiatric population. Results, even if partial, encourage in future studies a more frequent use of humour-based interventions, with the aim of improving emotional regulation and metacognition, and encouraging greater self-awareness.
