Neuropsicologia, Psicoterapia e Riabilitazione (NPR) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal in English and Italian that receives scientific papers on child and adolescent psychopathology and neuropsychology with a special focus on integrated psychotherapeutic, psychoeducational and rehabilitative interventions centred on the referral of the patient and their context. The journal hosts articles with varying theoretical and methodological references such as developmental psychopathology, developmental cognitive neuropsychology, attachment theory, psychoanalytical theory, infant research, behavioural analysis, cognitive affective neurosciences, neuroeducation and evidence-based education. Scientific papers can relate to varying types of intervention such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, brain-based therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, neuropsychological rehabilitation, cognitive neurorehabilitation, psychiatric rehabilitation, and cognitive-motor and functional rehabilitation, as well as educational interventions in life contexts.
Neuropsicologia, Psicoterapia e Riabilitazione targets all mental health operators, especially multidisciplinary teams comprising child neuropsychiatrists, psychotherapists, rehabilitators and educators working in the fields of neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioural disorders and disorders in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
Neuropsicologia, Psicoterapia e Riabilitazione publishes high-quality articles in the areas of organisation of services, epidemiology, evaluation processes, treatments and, especially, in the area of integrated and multimodal interventions regarding children and adolescents in family, community and school contexts. We encourage articles to be sent not only from Italy but from anywhere in the world, at an international level.
