Innovative Rehabilitation in Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Neurodevelopmental disorders, characterised by multidimensional deficits and often comorbidities, require articulated and personalised interventions. Although the use of technology entails additional costs and requires specific training and cultural acceptance, it offers new opportunities related to both greater accessibility and greater effectiveness. Some of the technological tools used in the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders will be illustrated below, including: tele rehabilitation, multisensory environments, social robots, virtual reality and biosensors.
