Neuroscience has shown that the central nervous system of an individual is developed in a manner peculiar to every human being. Brain plasticity, through learning and educational systems, allows you to change and alter brain function itself, escaping phenotypic evidence which early treatment can change. It is well known that brain plasticity is active during the entire human existence but its highest expression is evident in the first three years of life. Children with Down’s syndrome have an overriding need to be adequately stimulated and prompted from an early age in order to make maximum use of all their potential. The study presented below focuses on suggestions of behaviour to adopt in the daily routine, in order to both stimulate specific areas of the development of receptive and expressive language, and to prevent bad habits which could lead to disharmony of buccolingual apparatus.
