The author addresses the issue of the psychology of the perpetrators of violence not only during the last period of
Nazi terror, but also in today’s institutionalisation scenarios. The «educational» violence suffered by young Germans is also described. The author questions the terrible normality of institutionalised violence and that became a common feeling towards persons who were different (the disabled, «difficult children», ethnic-cultural minorities).
