Gli ausili tecnologici nei percorsi di integrazione lavorativa delle persone disabili

Technologies can contribute signifi cantly to increasing the autonomy of persons with disabilities in the working sector. From the legislative aspect, Law No. 68/99 defi nes a «series of technical tools» designed to integrate individuals with disabilities within companies. The article describes the activity of the «Centro di Formazione Professionale e Inserimento Lavorativo» (Professional Training and Job Placement Centre) of Varese that has organised a series of methods and systems to assess, guide, train and accompany a person with a disability in the job placement process.
More specifi cally, two particularly signifi cant case studies are presented concerning the programme-supports to be addressed by a person with a disability and that requires compensatory instruments to achieve complete autonomy in the workplace.
