Social and human ecology and resilience? Which possible links exist with the challenges which contemporary society imposes and the integration prospects outlined in the documents of the international agencies? While acknowledging the complexity of the subject, this article investigates some key words and an open consideration is developed that clarifies a number of crucial nodes which today characterise the contemporary debate. Lastly, the possible influences which these horizons could entail for the educational system are explored.
