Women with disabilities

The paper reflects on the meaning of integration and inclusive processes in the Palestinian context. Starting from the UN Convention (ONU, 2006) on the rights of persons with disabilities and the «social model» of disability, this paper will focus on research initiatives in the field of disability. The aim of these projects has been the promotion of social inclusion, through the active involvement of one of the most vulnerable groups in Palestinian society, represented by women with disabilities.
