Implementation and sustainability of new technologies in El Salvador

The paper presents an international research experience carried out at the Ministry of Education of El Salvador (Central America), about the sustainable implementation of new technologies in schools. The reflections emphasise that adequate investment in new technologies at school should consider not only the technical-instrumental dimension, but also the creation and design of implementation plans through which (considering a process dimension) systematic and sustainable diffusion of the ICT is enabled.
