Se ti conosco, ti capisco meglio

Many research projects highlight how work makes a positive contribution to the growth of persons with mental disabilities by favouring the social integration of these persons. A questionnaire was submitted to a sample of 53 persons in this study, the questionnaire was designed to investigate the differences in perception between those working together with persons that have mental disabilities (24 persons) and those who have never worked with the mentally disabled (29 persons), in order to identify effective treatment approaches. The items which achieved statistical signifi cance favour the research assumptions, by confi rming that the persons who work together with the mentally disabled are aware of the phenomenon, its limits and its points of strength.
