Un supporto alla programmazione educativo-didattica per gli alunni con BES

The various problems that pupils with Special Educational Needs have within our schools mean that we must offer a concrete response to the situations which teachers find themselves facing every day, both from a teaching and learning perspective. In light of this, the drawing up of a tailored Education Plan for pupils with disabilities as well as the drawing up of a PDP – Personalised Didactic Plan should not be seen as just compliance with bureaucratic requirements regulated by specific laws, but as a real opportunity for educational planning, in line with the real needs expressed by pupils with problems. In order to support and facilitate these educational planning tasks, we have developed an online support system called SOFIA, which, based upon the information entered, following careful observation of the pupil, helps the user to define school and life objectives which are most suited to the severity of the deficit, also suggesting appropriate educational and teaching activities for the reaching of these objectives. SOFIA comes about from a two-year research project — ePlanning — winner of the FESR Grant of the Autonomous Province of Trento, and is a service addressed to teachers and educational institutions from nursery schools to upper secondary schools.
