Dentro la Commissione Falcucci (1974-1975)

Francesca Caprino, Simone Consegnati

This study provides a new reconstruction of the history of the «Falcucci Commission», the cornerstone of Italy’s school integration model. Using a prosopographical and socio-institutional approach, the research maps the backgrounds of Falcucci’s members and their influence on public policy. The hypothesis is that the group’s specific heterogeneity enabled a compromise between pedagogical visions and organizational sustainability, preparing the ground for subsequent regulatory outcomes and for an integration model centered on rights, inter-institutional cooperation, and the transformation of both didactics and the teaching profession.
