The TNPEE (Developmental Neuro and Psychomotor Therapist) is the health professional appointed to intervene independently regarding prevention, functional evaluation and rehabilitation in the developmental neuro psychomotor field, in neuropsychology and developmental psychopathology according to those skills established by professional profile. This article reviews the origin and transformation of the professional role from its theoretical beginnings to the present in Italy, in Europe and in the world. Special attention is given to a colleague’s experience in Spain.
