This article looks back and reflects upon some of the core elements that the conference “The understanding and the dialogue about the fear of terrorism and the traps of prejudice” was based upon, such as its emphasis on emotion and choice of interdisciplinary view in order to deal with such complex issues, its correlation with religion, and last, but not least, its emphasis on the deconstruction of prejudice.
