Proposing measures to strengthen preschool numerical capabilities that would accompany the child in the delicate transition from nursery school to primary school is both possible and desirable. This can help identify children with fragile dispositions and direct action to improve their numerical skills. It is important to note that this is not rehabilitative, but is a development activity that aims to promote the learning of skills identified by many authors as predictors of potential difficulties in the subsequent learning of arithmetics.
