Intervento domiciliare per studenti con difficoltà di lettura – Potenzialità e limiti
Fabiola Casarini, Sara Andolfi
Many studies have emphasized parents’ role in predicting the reading skills of their children. Research focused mainly on preschoolers, at the expense of later ages. This study presents the effects of a fluency-based training on the reading performance of primary and secondary school students with difficulties in learning or learning disabilities. Parents conducted the training at home, under the supervision of an Educational Psychologist researcher. We analyzed the efficacy of the training, and further described the strengths and limits of a home-based intervention.
