Challenges and Opportunities in Teaching English to University Students with SLD

This contribution provides some answers based on the experience of the University of Parma, which, starting from the 2018/2019 academic year, has introduced qualified personnel and launched a dedicated language support service specifically designed for this group of learners. The initiative addresses their linguistic training needs in light of recent advances in educational linguistics, with particular attention to accessibility in language teaching (glottodidactics).
