High cognitive potential: activities with Elia
Lucia Verdiglione
The aim of the project was to involve Elia, capturing his attention and engaging him through challenging activities proposed in new ways, and thus help him to raise his frustration acceptance threshold by accommodating processing times and paces which are different from his own. At the same time, by promoting cooperative strategies, such as working in small groups, the project pursued class group cohesion and promoted the children’s ability to help each other using their own knowledge and personal skills.
