The Road to Knowledge and Awareness of One’s Own Learning Characteristics
Valentina Ferretti, Emanuela Pedrinelli
Learning is a moving, dynamic process, in which it seems important to recognize the specificity of the individual and to acquire awareness of one’s own general profile of skills in order to identify resources and competences. The aim of this contribution will be to reflect on the constructive management of error, the identification of strategies, the promotion of complex cause attributions and the development of a culture of values not linked to the achievement of standards from a life-span perspective. The arguments will be analysed in-depth through theoretical insights and narrations of life stories observed in clinical practice, which was conducted according to the philosophy of intervention that guided the team of the «Progetto Crescere» social cooperative in managing the specific training carried out, over the course of youngsters’ growth from students to young adults.
