A longitudinal study into the predictive capacity of observational questionnaires on learning prerequisites

Chiara Maffioletti, Giulia Tombini, Valentina Tobia

The study showed that the questionnaire administered to teachers, but not that given to parents, is capable of significantly predicting a small percentage (6.4 %) of the variance in the symbolic maths performance (composite variable including digit writing, number seriation and digit knowledge) of children at the end of their last year of preschool.
