The experience of the Territorial Pedagogical Coordination: Designing continuity, experiencing corporeality
Elisa Polzoni, Marzia De Silvestri, Antonio Cuccaro
This paper examines the application of the Embodied Cognition paradigm within the integrated 0-6 system, with a specific focus on the experience of the Territorial Pedagogical Coordination (CPT) of ATS 10 in Fabriano and Sassoferrato. Through a theoretical analysis and two interviews with key local figures, the study examines how the bodily dimension is placed at the center of educational processes and the design of continuity. Shared pedagogical practices, the focus on corporeality during transitions between nursery and preschool, and joint training for practitioners emerge as fundamental tools for a truly embodied education. The paper concludes with a pedagogical reflection highlighting the relevance of a systemic and embodied approach in supporting children’s integral development and promoting an educational culture rooted in the local community.
