Giulia Fiorese

In the onlife era, characterized by the growing integration between digital and physical dimensions, the educational landscape is undergoing profound transformations. This article examines how digital technologies, which have become an integral part of daily life, are not only reshaping teaching methodologies but also redefining the skills needed to face the challenges of contemporary society. Starting from the concept of onlife, which blurs traditional distinctions between online and offline, the impact of this transformation on education is explored. The social and ethical implications of the pervasive use of technologies are analyzed, emphasizing the importance of fostering critical awareness among students. The article proposes innovative pedagogical strategies for effectively integrating digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality, into the educational process. Furthermore, it highlights the need for an educational approach that promotes not only technical skills but also critical thinking and ethical reflection, in order to prepare students to navigate successfully in an increasingly interconnected world. The article concludes with a reflection on the future prospects of education in the onlife era, underscoring the importance of an inclusive and conscious education.
