The following were used to measure stress levels: the Maugeri Stress Index Questionnaire reduced form (MASI-R), the Psychological General Well Being Index (PGWBI) to assess wellness levels and, as a concurrent outcome, the CBA Outcome Evaluation (CBA OE). The results support the effectiveness of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program in stress management and underline its feasibility as a suitable intervention to deal with work-related stress, specifically for subjects who are in a condition of more intense distress as measured by Maugeri Stress Index Questionnaire reduced form.
