App e logopedia: come utilizzare il tablet a supporto della terapia logopedica in età evolutiva

Over recent years, the use of multimedia devices spread incredibly fast, especially among new generations. This encouraged the development of an increasing number of applications targeted to developmental age, usable by the speech therapist in the rehabilitation practice, in order to support therapy. The aim of this article is to outline inclusion criteria for the selection of patients suitable to use the tablet in speech therapy and identify some of the functional situations that, according to our clinical experience, can benefit from the use of these tools. Furthermore, real life cases of existing apps with scope of applicability and example of therapeutic contexts will be presented.
