Childhood Apraxia of Speech

Benedetta Parrini

A 10-month intervention was delivered using the evidence-based dynamic temporal and tactile cueing (DTTC) approach, with dynamic target selection inspired by the Dynamic Evaluation of Motor Speech Skill (DEMSS). Post-treatment results showed significant improvement in articulatory accuracy and speech intelligibility. Findings support the effectiveness of early, intensive, motor-based intervention.
