Lexical Production in Children with Atypical Development and Language Difficulties

The study concerns the analysis of the gestural production of 10 children of a rehabilitation service with atypical development, throughout the submission of tests that investigate linguistic production. The objective was to investigate the use and the gestural function. In the conclusions, we will discuss how to evaluate gestures is important both for clinical assessment and for rehabilitation purposes. The importance of the gesture, and more generally of the manipulative abilities of children, will be underlined to better interact in the various contexts.
