The data show how the immigrant mothers’ original culture influences their relational modalities. As compared to the parent or caregiver, the children are greatly facilitated in integration and in adapting, due to schooling and peer group exchange. In addition, mothers coming from Northern and Western Africa and Asia encounter more difficulty in knowing how to use the host country’s available resources for supporting care and development support as compared to those coming from Eastern Europe and South America.
